Heartwood Media has teamed up with Film Our Path Media on a Documentary Film project called Invisible Fences. This film has a very personal connection for me as it is based on the life of my best friend, Kristin Ditzel, and her journey through her recent Covid Vaccine injury. Since March 16, 2021, Kristin has struggled to find her way back to her vivacious and adventurous life. This film is about her challenges navigating the Canadian healthcare systems and seeking Goverment support. Heartwood Media is a Nelson-based business run by local artist Jaimie Killen. Jaimie completed the Selkirk College Digital Arts & New Media program in 2019 and began her journey of following her passion by launching Heartwood Media shortly thereafter.
